Officers are available during the morning and evening to assist motorist and school buses in making the
traffic transition as smooth as possible at Wallace Elementary School.  Due to the congestion, this service
is a very important safety issue for the children, parents, school officials, and commuters.

An anonymous group of officers work consistently to follow up on crime tips and aid in the interdiction of both gang and drug activity.  To date, numerous arrest have been made and convictions
prosecuted within the North Carolina Court Systems.  These Officers work diligently with the other local agencies, the community, criminal offenders, etc. to prosecute the offense to the fullest.  Most offenders, when charged, are not only charged criminally, but offered various methods of assistance through rehabilitation programs, etc.  When necessary, under state statutes, valuable equipment can be seized to
help officers aid in future investigations with little to no expense to the citizens of Wallace.
